Spybot & Destroy ???

I use and like Spybot & Destroy, but have a problem that I can't find the answer.
Whenever I choose a Start-Up item that I wish to stop loading at start up, I get a message box that says,"Spybot has detected an important registry entry that has been changed". There are two small boxes to check, but I can't read what the selection is, but have found by trial that one is accept and the other is reject. When I accept, everytime that I boot up boxes appear that says "Registry Change Allowed". My problem is that I am annoyed that these boxes appear and I can't find a way to stop them. I have read all of the information given, but it says nothing about this problem. Could someone help me get rid of these boxes at start-up.

You have somehow activated"tea-timer"-realtime protection of SD.In advace mode go to tools>resident>and uncheck"resident tea-timer".You will not see the popup again.

 

There are alternatives to use for protection such as SpywareGuard & SpywareBlaster.

Thanks for your response. I unchecked Tea-Time in "MODE-Adavnced-residence - tea time, but this didn't help. I unchecked it in "msconfig-start up" and this solved the problem, but just wondered if this will effect the operation of Spybot & Destroy?

 

A lot of people do not like or use the Tea-Timer function due to the reasons you had described. Disabling it will not hurt the performance of Spybot.
As bjgarrick stated SpywareGuard & SpywareBlaster will take the place of Tea-Timer with less headaches.
