Error during check!: InterFun (Datei C:\WINDOWS\system.ini kann nicht geöffnet werden. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process) ()

Congratulations!: No immediate threats were found. ()

I just ran spypot first with programs running and next with no "windows" open. I got the above message looks suspicious any thoughts?

I ran spybot and got a similar thing. Here's what happened:

During spybot update, it paused, refreshed, and then continued. The congratulations no immediate threats were found partially overwrote the following message:

    Backorifice.B
(Datei C:\WINDOWS\wininit.ini Kann nicht geoffnet werden. The it is being used by another process.

I ran spybot again and this time it said essentially the same thing except it called itself InternetFun.

I checked in the registry and did find an entry for Backorifice.B

Guess we need help to eliminate BackOrifice.B . Help, please...

    Thanks!

    The translation is:

    "File C:\WINDOWS\system.ini cannot be opened."

I'd say wait for the author to fix whatever is screwed up... It just seems to be a glitch with this update. It isn't saying it found something, only that it can't open a system file that's in use.

That's strange. I have the latest 10-26-2004 detections installed and I do not have this problem. But I probably have a different version of SpyBot then you guys do. I have a beta version 1.3.1.

It's fixed today. Update it and it flashes a command prompt window; then it works fine.
