Spybot inserting entries into host file?

    Does anyone know why Spybot has inserted entries into my host file?

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

    Spybot's immunization feature adds lots of known malware sites to your host file to prevent you from accidently visiting them and thereby possibly getting infected.
