    Hi!

When I run AdAware and Spybot, I would only have a couple of items show up. But now, I suddenly have a lot in Spybot.

Does someone know what these particular ones are, and possibly how I got them?

(Other than the computer being at the fix-it shop for driver updates due to gaming problems, and installing more RAM, now at 1GB) that's the only thing that I can think of that's different about the computer.

I've looked at the thread with all the points about spyware, etc,. but I find it confusing and more than what my computer skills/knowledge are. I'm not that confident yet, lol.

Just wondering for a general direction in which I should be heading, (eg. Different Spyware?AdWare program?)

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

I opened Spybot and clicked on "Immunize".
It says, "All known bad products are already blocked".

I'm not too comfortable yet with all that stuff in the startup pages and my computer know how. But, I will definitly try cleaning my cookies, and checking out that link.

    Thanks for your replies,
    Very much appreciated!

As Star indicated, most of these are probably just cookies. Installing SpywareBlaster 3.3 from the link he gave you will help you block lots of bad stuff from every getting onto you PC to begin with. You should install it.
