Hey, I just reformatted my computer after some virus problems. I downloaded spybot and did a search only to find that I had 640,000 files that it was scanning through. This is how many I had before I reformatted. Is this normal or did I mess up somewhere during the reformatting. My hard drive is clean and fully empty and everything looks brand new. Thanks for the help in advance.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

I guess you messed up or reinstalled everything you had before. Either way this is not a malware problem.

And your message does not make any sense because your drive cannot be empty if you are running Windows and running Spybot.
