Spybot S&D Problems??

    I have install SPYBOT S&D latest version from MG site. The program has a problem w/ freezing up at its startup. It gives me an error message w/ only a large "X" as explaination. I have uninsalled Spybot S&D and reinstalled it several times only to have the same problem. I have other sypware removal programs installed such as SPY SWEEPER, SPYBLASTER, ADAWARE SE PERSONAL, CRAPCLEANER, AVG 6.0, and ZONE ALARM. I want to know do I really need SpyBOT S&D? Is any one else having a problem w/ SPYBOT S&D? I know that I need to keep all these program updated for them to be effective in my protection. I welcome all the positive advise any one have to give.     I too have Win ME but Spybot S & D works fine for me.
    I know AdAware often catches stuff Spybot S & D misses.

    Spybot S&D is a very good program to have in your spyware tools. Uninstall the program! Reboot your PC. And immediately after reboot, install it again and do all of the updates.

    Chaslang:
    MG has 3 versions of SpyBot S & D. Which one should I be using?? Have any changes been made since I downloaded it a couple of weeks ago?? ODIE :)
