spybot s&d updates

Recently I ran into a problem with spybot. It wont let me download the updates now. It just locks up when I go to download them. I tried uninstalling the program and re downloading and installing but it still will not let me get the updates. Anyone else have this problem?

 

That's probably it. I'd been using the default (Europe) download, (hadn't noticed the option to change it), and it ran OK until last night, when it became EXTREMELY slow, and downloads were failing with a "checksum error" message. Don't know if the European site is having issues or what, but changing to the U.S. download site both cured the problem, and IS a lot quicker. Thanks xflat.

I have exactly the same thing happen to me , ie in UK I have to download using the Safer Networking #1 Europe link, if I try anything else I also get the checksum error coming up. But even on Safer Networking the download speeds have been varying recently.

Just used the 'rootboxen' USA server (I'm in CA) - no problem. I guess it defaults to the UniDo (Europe) server...
