Spybot Search & Destroy 2

    Hello Folks, I have 2 problems I hope you clever people can help me solve -
    1) How do I remove completely Spybot Search & Destroy 2 from my computer &
    2) My mail programme is Mozilla Thunderbird, what do I need to do to stop emails being opened on the first click, I would like to be able to delete the mail without opening it.

    Hi and welcome.

    As far as Spybot, you can download Revo Uninstaller and use that at the 'Moderate' setting. Allow it to uninstall (it will use the program's uninstaller for the first step). After that, it should search for folders and files. When it finds the leftovers, look at them carefully, only check to remove the files in Bold.

    For Thunderbird...I do not use it, but found this:

    One site recommended just clicking F8 and that is the shortcut to remove that feature. If that doesn't work, try this: Click View Menu >select Layout > make sure that 'Message pane' does not have a marker against it - if it has click 'Message pane' to remove it.
