Spybot Search & Destroy Shows Updates For Teatimer When I Don't Even Use It!

I use the newest Spybot Search & Destroy but I don't use the TeaTimer feature. Yet whenever I check for updates for Spybot [like everyone else does], I see normal updates and than I see a Teatimer update. I don't even use the darn thing so I never select it as a download. But whenever I try to check for updates again it's still there. The very same Teatimer update I didn't select before. How do I get rid of Teatimer updates?

Should I be downloading them even though I do not use TeaTimer? I just don't want to ruin my Spybot...

You can download it - it won't do any harm. I don't believe there is a way to hide updates you do not require. You can equally just ignore it - won't do any harm either. Updates are unable to see which facets of the application you have installed, so gives you the option to choose whether you want them or not.

 

I used to uncheck the updates for teatimer since I didn't install it either, so had the same problem as superstar. I'll just let it update from now on.
