SpyBot Search&Destroy

ive been using this for awhile now but today everytime i tryed to download updates it crashes. so i reinstalled it but it just keeps crashing cant i get the updates and put them in manualy ?

 

never heard of this before.....try getting rid of your current version completely and download another...then configure it to automatically update....mine's been running a year or two now with no problem

 

does it give you an error message?

 

Yeah just to add my little bit .. I use spybot also .. Today for the first time it kept hanging when i tried to update .. From what you say now i think its a problem on their end not yours ..All its other functions are working fine .. Thanks for posting,i was gonna if the problem didnt right itself .. ragman ..

 

Seems to be working well now.

 

On Spybots update page, try selecting a different mirror to download from . This has worked for a lot of other people on other forums I frequent, so I imagine it might work for any with problems here.

I've always used AdAware. Is there any significant difference between the two?

 

spybot finds dialers dont think adaware does
