SpyBot will NOT UPDATE

I have not been able to get the "update" button to work AT ALL !!! on SpyBot..... for about 12 hours ...I have tried intermittantly....sigh

I was unable to find anything pertenant on SpyBots website referring to trouble they may know about....another sigh.

1. does anyone know what's wrong?

2, is there an easy way for a person who is not too literate in computers to resolve this?

(outside of deleting the program, and re-downloading it?)

and even if i did DO this, could it be ......that an invader trojan has leaked out a worm onto my computer? and it would still lurk somewhere?....BIGGEST SIGH

BTW,this should be installed without spybot running,it should locate the program.
