Spybot is telling me that I need to be an administrator in order for it to immunize my system. I am the administrator and am curious about why it is telling me this. Is it a Vista thing or should I get another program?

    spybot
    spyware blaster
    AVG
    comodo

These are the things I have on the computer besides Windows defense program.

Thanks for all help and suggestions.

    Hi

Its a Vista thing, you need to Run as Administrator the app, you can add this in the shortcut of SB, Properties > Compatability at bottom tick the box and this will run it as admin, will have to click through a UAC message when running SB.

Bascially happening as apps like Spybot and CCleaner want access to core system locations and the Registry so the system is alerting you to these locations being an area that could if messed with cause instability in the OS, but if you know the app then option is Run as Admin (even though you may have the admin account its not a full admin account)
