   i just downloaded the new spybot a couple of days ago, now when I scan it stops at 6559 files scanned and freezes up, anyone know whats wrong?

   I also had this problem when working on a friends system, I don't know if it was exactly at 6559, but it definitely froze.
   
   I ran Ad-aware SE instead and everything was fixed. Try running Ad-aware SE 1.05 with the latest definitions with Windows in Safe Mode.
