Spying Software

Does anyone notice that there is a section here with spying software in it?(Covert Ops)
Kind of odd with all the info that is here on how to detect,remove and defeat spyware.

What is the difference?
Spyware is spyware isn't it?

 

it's semantics. The spyware you're referring to is not the same thing. You're talking about trojans , and programs that are loaded onto your computer with out you knowing it and that use your computer to collect personal information or use your machine as a host to spread.

The applications MG hosts are typically used the downloaded on their own machine and KNOW what they are installing.

there's more to it than that, but trust me, it's not the same thing.
