Spysweeper Freezes

I'm kinda acting as a middle person here, a lady is having freezing problems with Spysweeper. I'm not familiar with that program and have come here for help.

Here's the e-mail that I received of her problem. She's running XP. How can I help her?

.....they installed Norton and Spysweeper but this Spysweeper keeps coming on and then it freezes. Can't get the screen to disappear. I called XXXXXXXXXXX and they told me to delete it and then install it again which I did. The problem was still there. I deleted it again and left it out. Not sure if its necessary or not with Norton.

 

I use Spysweeper, but my prefered mode is in the computers safe mode. Has your friend tried that?

I don't know if she has used it in safe mode or not, I will ask. The lady having issues with Spysweeper is a relatative to my friend, so this may take some time while we get back to each other.
