spyware doctor issues

    this program is stupid intrusive. and i want to get rid of it.. but for some reason, whenever i close it, the whole internet stops working for me. it seems as though it's clinging onto internet explorer and mozilla firefox. and it is laggy, another program i'd suggest people eschew.
