Spyware Problems

Hi Folks. Can someone help me please?

1st - i have followed the thread regarding spyware removal instructions to the letter. i have not ran hijack this. i am running xp with sp1.

2nd - the programs i am running are norton 2005, ad-aware with vx2 plug-in, spybot with DSOexploit plug-in, spyware doctor, x-cleaner, and all the others that were recommended in the instruction thread.

3rd - My pc is infected with - VX2, ieautosearch, virtual bouncer, look2me, websearch, virtumonde, grokster, adDestroyer, start page-BN, WebTrends live, Common hijacker, CoolWWWSearch, FastClick, IGetNet.

4th - The symptons include - blank windows opening, redirection to a "ringtone" website, icons appearing on the desktop and a general slowness when surfing. When i run any of the spyware programs, it seems to get rid of them, but they reappear. ive tried manually deleting the actual files (by clicking end process on task manager) but i get an error message saying that the files are locked.

Please Help!

Sounds like you have run through the TUTORIAL so please do the following.

Make sure you have HijackThis 1.99 and follow the guidelines on where to install it and how to post a log as an attachment. This is all covered in the sticky thread NO HIJACK THIS LOG FILES BEFORE READING THIS: HJT Tutorial & LOG File Posting

Now post a HijackThis log as an attachment to your message (Do not post the log inline). All running programs should be closed, INCLUDING YOUR WEB BROWSER, e-mail. Close before running Hijack This!

To repeat: Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file. Place it in its own folder for example C:\Program Files\HJT
