spyware proggies

how often do you guys/gals run your spyware programs?

 

Mmm I try to almost everyday.

 

I would say every couple days at minimum... but every day is not rare for me!

And Bal... it has driven me crazy, I searched and other than finding you on other BB's I couldn't find what the heck BalbanwhateverIcan'tpronounce means>>.

Well sure. It is actually the name of a character in a game but without one letter. The name of the character is Balbanes Beoulve, he was from Final Fantasy Tactics. My friend was registering an account for me, made the typo and I just stayed with it.

 

I run a trojan sweep once a day a virus scan every day and two different spy ware scans a day ad-aware and pest patrol

 

Yeah - I think we're all equally paranoid round here! My office has about 15 PCs of varying descriptions, all networked in varying ways! And I run spyware and trojan scans in rotation all the time. I've written program managers in Windoze and Linux to automatically perform a scan when the PCs doing nothing and also at least once a day. The server is firewalled to hell with my own software and with very tight regulation for application's access to the internet etc.

But then if my equipment gets infected, I lose my business! So I'm paranoid. Its always better to be careful what you open in you email and to keep you firewall rules strict.
