SpyWare Program

Hey Everyone! Im a MCP and Desktop Support Technician for our company. I found a new program called "XoftSpy". Its a program for spyware detection and removal. Has anyone heard about it or know if it is any good? Also if anyone has any suggestions for spyware remover tools please advise of your personal favorites so I can give them a try. Thanks for your time!

Does it do a good job as in detecting and removing spyware?

 

it's ad-aware repackaged.. just use Ad-aware

 

I used it on a few WinXP systems during cleanups and it detects some windows files as worms but there really clean per Trend & Symantec. It also causes conflicts with installation of WinXP SP2 if you remove the files it detects so if anyone has this be careful if your running WinXP.

 

one of those demo's that produces false positives so you buy it.. just skip it altogether.
