Spyware programs

    Hi,

    After following 'how to protect yourself from malware' i now need help on which programs i should use.Which ones should i have active guard for etc. How and when do i use them etc.

    I currently have Norton Antivirus, Ad Aware SE, MS Antispyware, Ewido, SpywareGuard, Spybot SD and SpywareBlaster.

    I also have CCleaner and tuneup utilities. Should i use these (both?). How often?

    Ccleaner and Tuneup Utilities do not do the same things. Why are you comparing them? These are questions for the Software Forum as this is not a malware problem.

    Do you have malware problems or have question about malware related topics.

    I would not use both Ewido and MS Antispyware as a permanent solution. Did you buy Ewido? If not, just keep MS Antispyware. If you bought Ewido then uninstall MS Antispware. I would also remove SpywareGuard as long as you have MS AS or Ewido installed. The others are all fine to keep.

    Hi,

    I now only have MS Antispyware and Norton active. Should i uninstall others (spywaregaurd, ewido) or keep them to do scans every now and then eg Ewido.

    As with Ccleaner and utilities. i will post in software.
