Is it possible to get spyware through pop-ups?
I'm assuming cookies can be a form of spyware, correct?

I aren't certain but I would have to say YES. People who design malicious software to infect your system are often also some of the most cleverest. If you look around you will find info that states it is a multi-million dollar buisness with some of the more dubious Spyware Product Co.s' being the biggest culprits.

'Pends on the browser you are using. IE is known to allow, just about anything to get through to your system. IE6, that is, IE7 b2 is much better.

Cookies, I have cookies with FF. They are are not bad at all.
