    Hey everyone I have been running into WinTools and CoolWebSearch a lot is there any removal tool other than HiJack This and CWShredder that assist in the removal of either of these as in specific tools just for these objects.

    If you mean you keep getting those infections on your PC, you need to get properly protected. See How to Protect yourself from malware!

    I'm not sure that any particular program actually removes WinTools by itself. And for CWS, there are so many variations of it, some CWShredder can fix and many it cannot. Some other programs like the ones in our READ ME FIRST sticky thread, fix some of them too. But again not all. HijackThis is a tool to aid in the removal but it does not remove anything on its own. Nor does it even make any statements as to whether anything it prints out in a scan is good or bad. That is up to the (expert) user to decide. Also the method that is required to remove the problems can vary. Again you have to be somewhat of an expert to know what is required.

    Okay, I have my own computer repair shop and i have seen numerous of these infections so I was curious to see if there was a tool available. I have several work arounds to get rid of it but I was looking for an easier more quicker router but thanks for your response.

    because there are so many variants of this malware, it's nearly impossible to find one tool that nails them all.
