SpywareBlaster Question

I just got this bit of software.. and I don't see any way to minimize it to the system tray. It's kind of annoying to have it on your taskbar at all times. If there is a way, will someone please tell me. Thanks.

 

Just close it. It doesn't minimize to the system tray. It will still protect you.

I've just loaded SpywareBlaster as a startup program, but it doesn't show as a running program in Startup Manager for Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000/XP that I use. Is this correct? Bazza

 

That's correct; when updated and protection enabled, its primary task is to diable things like ActiveX components and dialers, bad .dlls, etc. Yopu can see what you are protected from by opening the program and clicking on "protection", and then clicking on the "0 items have protection disabled" line next to each browser listed, or doing the same on the restricted sites list. It's a disabler, not a running process, so you won't see it as a "running program".
