I posted on the software forum about Spyware vs Windows Defender, asking wich one should i keep, since in this forum i've read it's not recommended to use the tea timer function of spyware and windows defender it's free, I finally decide to keep both.

But I would like to know, Why some people say it's not recommendable to use the tea timer? Just for educational reasons.

    As well as the above,

the TeaTimer function can and will hinder removals of any malware found as it locks/blocks changes to the registry.. which is why for removals its mentioned in our guide to disable it, I does consume a fair bit of ram for what it is, but is its was your only live scanning malware app then its better than nothing altho their are others out their and as you have Defender you could utilise its live scanning ability and turn off tea-timer as you will be running two live scanners which will slow your PC a touch.
