SQL parameter question

    Hi,
    I am trying to use a text string passed as a a parameter to an SP in a where clause. The text param contains something like ' and A.Office='Fred' ' and I want to bolt this on to the back end of an existing where clause..

    select * from Offices A where a.city = 'London' ...<param here>

    how do I go about doing this?
