stage flash mp3/mp4 player

hi dose any one no how to put video files on my mp4 player. cos its starting to wind me up now lol the disk that came with it had a converter but it dosnt do jack ive tryed other converters n my player just keeps saying file format error . i can put mp3 files on it no prob but not video files even thow it says it dose all formats.is there any way to check if its broken even thow its new from xmas

I have the same problem, just bought the stage 2gb mp4 player and cant get the supplied software to work.... i've emailed the place i bought it from see if they can help, will post anything i get back.... have you had any success yet tho?

 

hi you have to find an av converter 1.0 because it gose off you screen size..
thats why it wont work. i sent mine back but thay still didnt give me the right softwear.. when thay sent me a replacement my screen size is 320/240 resolution ... aspect ratio is 4.3... i had to use my mates conveta to get mine working.. to find out yours just look at your test video coz it gives you the screen size. then just look on the net for a converta that will work.. thats all i can tell you hope it helps

Does anyone know how you can get in touch with Stage, who make these MP4 players? My screen doesn't work and i have lost the receipt for where it was purchased so i want to email them to see if i can get it fixed. however i can't find any information on them at all? Can anyone please help? thanks

 

Did you ever find Stage? Plenty of product, no route back.
I have not and the userguide VER1.0.5 is gibberish!
I thought I might get some knowhow on the use of its reset button, which has baffled me.
Retailers have no related knowhow so far and no-one has guaranteed support for a new purchase
The chip is by www.ali.com/tw I think but they have not responded.
I think we shout help in the dark but who knows who may pop up?
Maybe even Stage look in sometimes??
I feel I may have bought 1G of portable storage
I note there is no Credit Card recourse for items under £100!
I guess that makes some online vendors feel safe?
