Starcraft VS That Cartoony Zelda

Everyone go to gamefaqs and vote for starcraft! its like, 1% behind, grrr.

 

I don't understand their logic behind the voting; they compare two completly opposite games that have NOTHING to do with each other. SC vs Zelda? Wheres somthing comparable between the two? Anyways SC all the way

That's just the most random poll ever. PC only multiplayer RTS vs GC only single player Adventure.

I would have voted Zelda simply because its a great game and Ive never played Starcraft

it was SC vs. Zelda: The Wind Waker right?

Wind Waker is such a poor incarnationof the Zelda legacy it's not even funny anymore, it's just plain boring.

 

Yea it was, it doesn't matter now tho, starcraft lost to super smash bros melee, how humiliating! SSBM is a good game, btu come on, it's starcraft.

 

omg, SSBM isn't better than SC, I mean SC has a gazillion possibilities with the map editors out there, the mods etc, SSBM is just another fighting game that happens to have some nintendo characters in it

 

And in that one I would have picked SSBM, why? Because Ive played it, I have it, and it rocks

Oh, and WindWaker rocks too, sure its cartoony, but the way the game was made it really made the game enjoyable. One more thing, ever notice the trend with Zelda titles released on home consoles, 2 "real" looking ones and the 3rd is cartoony?

Legend Of Zelda & Legend Of Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link were both "real" (for their time on the NES)

Next came LOZ: A Link To The Past, that was cartoony, and one of the best in the series, yet, nobody complained about the graphics on that game. (SNES)

Then came Ocarina Of Time (best in the series followed by ALTTP), and Majoras Mask (worst in the series), both looked real.(N64)

Now we have WindWaker, #6 in the home series, and its cartoony.

See the trend here? Next one is The Legend Of Zelda, and if you have seen the movies, you will know it looks really damn good and real. In my opioin SC is a very bad RTS. Only 2 races and everyone trys to get those flying forts first. Theres so many better games like Rise of nations WC3FT,even red alert

 

Er, there are three races in StarCraft: Terran, Zerg, and Protos. And if your strategies revolve around "tech to Battlecruiser/Carrier," well, then, you're just not very good at the game. Both strategies suck.

StarCraft is a good enough and balanced enough RTS to be a televised sport in Korea.

yup, I know that about Zelda, all I'm saying is that WW is just too boring having to float around in ur boat and SSBM still isn't better than SC, I've played both, I own both and SSBM just gets boring after 15 mins, if you want a good fighting game for the NGC get Soul Calibur2.

 

I agree the sailing is annoying, but the fighting makes up for it, the fighting is awesome, and I love going through that 50 level area on Outset Island for fun.

Ive seen Starcraft, doesnt impress me.

Gimmie SSBM and/or WindWaker over it anytime.

And after having WindWaker since the day it came out, I finally finished it, got sidetracked with a few Final Fantasy games

 

FF and Zelda are two of the greatest rpg titles out
