    Hi

Just got new machine with Win 7 (64 bit or are all versions of Win 7 64 bit?). Getting use to the interface (was using XP on last machine). I can't figure out how to add a program to the start menu, i.e Start>All Programs.

How do I do this in Win 7?

Not all versions of windows 7 are 64-bit.

The 32-bit version has an x86 tag.
The 64-bit version has an x64 tag.

When installing programs, some will have an x86 and a x64 version. Others will be compatible with either OS. Make sure you look up each programs compatibility before you install it. Or you may run into some programs that crash because they do not support the 64-bit architecture.
