Hi, My apologies in advance, this is a rather dumb question. Do I need any of these programs in my start up. My start up is taking 4 mins. I was going to run CCleaner but was warned I may remove something needed.
    Thanks!, Traci

ybrwucin - I can find no information about this file, an executable name and path would be more helpful.

yop if the exe is yop.exe then this is probably Dashboard Module for SBC Yahoo! Online_Protection

wkfud - if the exe is wkfud.exe then this is probably Microsoft Works Marketting Feature and is not a critical component of MS Works

REGSHAVE - Part of the USB driver for your Fuji digital cameras - used when uninstalling the USB drivers, erasing all entries from the registry. Only required BEFORE attempting to uninstall the Fuji software or the uninstall may not work correctly

realplay RealNetworks RealPlayer related, can be removed from startup. Note that many viruses also use this executable name so chack the path

E_SOEIC1 - Epson Stylus printer monitor - for checking ink levels, etc. if removed from startup it will probably be invoked everytime you print anyway

    CAVRID - eTrustâ„¢ EZ_Antivirus Do not remove

    CAVtray - eTrustâ„¢ EZ_Antivirus Do not remove

DirectCD - DirectCD primarily allows you to drag and drop files onto a suitably formatted CD-RW disc. Unless you use this on a frequent basis it isn't required and is available via Start -> Programs. Start the program before inserting a DirectCD formatted CD-RW in the drive. A re-boot is recommended if you close Adaptec DirectCD before re-opening it again later

SBCSTray related to Sunbelt Software should probably be left alone.

Jushed - Java Sun Update Scheduler and is NOT needed as a startup program. Jushed.exe is also an executable path added by W32/Sdbot-CQC worm so you need to check the location of the executable before doing anything else.

ctfmon - CTFMon is involved with the language/alternative input services in Office XP. CTFMON.exe will continue to put itself back into MSConfig when you run the Office XP apps as long as the Text Services and Speech applets in the Control Panel are enabled. Not required if you don't need these features. Note that many viruses also use this executable name so chack the path

wkdetect - Checks for updates to MS Works. Not really needed.

Exif Launch - USB mass storage driver used by some digital cameras such as the Fuji Finepix. Only required if you use it regularly

These recomendations are based on the names you have given me, I would be able to give far more details if you could give me the full path and file names of these startup objects.

When using any program that edits things like startup object ensure that you make a backup in case they need restoring.
