After reading both your posts, I see that no one has welcomed you to Major Geeks! Welcome.

Your first problem, which no one replied to because you inserted it in another person's thread, would be solved by enabling QuickBoot in your computers BIOS.

As to this problem " starts minimized ", you will have to provide more information about your computer type and OS being used before any helpful advice can be given.

 

everything starts small untill you enlarge, xp home, 2 gig memory,broadband, 256 speed

Please define what you mean by "minimized", and how you are going about enlarging it.

 

i have to use the 2 squares to get it to inlarge by the x to close, Thank You

 

Go into Control Panel and click on the Folder Options button. This should bring up a menu with options. Click on the View tab, and at the bottom there should be a button for Restoring Defaults. Click on this button and accept. Reboot and your windows should open normally.
