Startup annoyance:avp.exe

    Can anyone help?Ive uninstalled my kaspersky AV and installed now with NOD32 but still avp.exe pops up whenever i logon to my comp.can anyone suggest a good solutio...Pls help..Thanx

    Goto star and type msconfig now goto startup is your file there if yes untick the box and restart your computer...

    Clark i tried it already but nothing happens,still avp.exe reappears after reboot.Any other solution?

    are you sure it's a Kaspersky file? I mean, very few (and bad) files would return to startup after you removed them yourself. Can you terminate the app when it's running?
