startup prog issue

cleaning up a friends comp from a virus. 0pii9n.exe starts up automatically in run once(user and Machine). i've tried disabling and deleting the files and reg entries and it keeps reappearing. i can find nothing about it thru search engines, pac's portal etc. anyone familiar w/this exe? it resides in system32/0pii9n.exe/k per msconfig and starter. thnaks in advance if anyone knows anything. the machinee runs xphome and uses aol.

 

Sounds like a trojan to me..

I don't know how, I don't know why, and FWIW, 0pii9n.exe did yield one result on the meta search engine www.dogpile.com. Is there anything to make out of this?

if it keeps coming back after you delete it look in windows prefetch, it may be hiding in there.
