Startup Takes Forever.. Before Windows Fires Up

the woes of breaking in a new tower..

When I turn on the machine I get a screen for the intel boot agent.. it initializes and establishes a link (gawd knows to whom).
Then I have a client mac address for what seems to be over a minute.
followed by "exiting boot agent" and then windows finally starts.

Might anyone know what this process is for and if/how I can disable it?

I have already looked at start up processes thorough wisecare 365 and cCleaner and did not find that one.. lots of other Intel things though:

intel management and security application local management service
intel dynamic application loader host interface service
intel proset monitoring service
intel hd graphic control panel service

and one AMD process that I don't know ..
amd external events utility

Any help would be appreciated

No personal experience but reading THIS you may possibly be able to disable it and boot normally.

Sorry it took so long to get back here. *rolls eyes at the holidays*
Apparently, I don't understand my new bios interface properly .. not what I'm used to seeing.. I can select what boot device I want, for that session, but it doesn't stick... I kind of wish I could screen shot it.
