How can you tell what's running at startup and what is the correct way to disable items that are not needed to run?:)

    Thanks,
    T.Blue

Thanks for the Post TBlue, as I am a bit puzzleous of this myself.
My 'old' putey of last week running loads of stuff and XP Pro only had 28 things running in Task Manager on a day to day basis.
My New putey has 34 things running.
I'd like to use CCleaner or CodeStuff but just don't know which programs I don't need.... how does one know as they all have such quasie-meaningful names?
    Thanks
