    When I start Win7 it loads up but then freezes.Toshiba L650.Can anyone assist me?

    If you don't experience freezing in safe mode, open msconfig and disable all start up items. Then boot back to normal mode and see if you are still having issues.

    I have a feeling it was some driver updates from Driver Detective.

    Back to Safe Mode, check the Driver Detective logs for the most recent batch of updates, then go to Device Manager and see if you can 'Roll back' the drivers from there.
