Static and Distortion in the Burn

    I'm using Nero 5.5 software and I notice that on my burns to CD I get a scratchy distortion on a lot of my CD's but the thing is I only hear this distortion when I play the disc on a player that has less than 20 sec skip protection. What is the cause of this and how can I correct it? Please respond by email if possible to; adnorwood@charter.net
