To start, I'm running on Windows XP.

    1) I recently found myself hit with that Antivirus Pro virus, and it wound up blocking out any chance of me using Malwarebytes, the program I used to take care of the thing the first time I encountered it giving me a runtime and automation error. I'm not sure if that's malware related or not, but that's not my only problem which is why I'm posting the thread here.

    2) I also now get a status code error that does not allow me to start up my computer normally. I get a message telling me that it will shut down in 60 seconds, and it won't get past the startup screen. If I boot it up in safe mode, I usually get a blue screen of death telling me to Run CHKDSK /F with this error message:

    Stop: 0x0000007B (0xF7BA4524, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

The only way I can start up my computer in any mode is to use the Directory Services Restore Mode option. I've read about typing in shutdown -a in the Start > Run bar in another thread, but it doesn't appear to do anything, and that leads me to my third issue.

    3) Recently, I had been experiencing a 16-bit MS-DOS Subsystem error. It would commonly happen everytime I started up and would tell me to close or ignore it. Naturally, I'm 0-for-3 right now in fixing these problems, and I'm not even sure which one to start with.
