    Hi, I have a p3 1.0GHz with 384 of ram.
I mutsly use my computer to go on the web, use MS Office, watch movie and video, use the tv-out to watch on my tv and play some games ...

    Right now, I have Win98.
Should I stay with it or change to wither 2000 or Xp?

Here is my most sincere opinion: if it is satifying you the way it is, I'd NOT do it. So it goes back to the old saying: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

I have to agree... if everything is working well then no real reason to change unless you are upgrading your PC to something with newer specs.

With those specs you will find that with the likes of XP, some applications will run slower and your hardware may not be compatable, small issues will surface in incomaptable drivers etc

I agree as well. Don't upgrade until you find a need. Windows 98 has some incompatibilities with USB and XP is a lot better for networking. If you don't plan on having a home network and plan on sharing files I would upgrade to XP or plan on using USB wireless network equipment (I learned the hard way that they are only compatible with 2000 and XP).

But I again strongly recommend staying with 98 unless you find a need for it.
