Sticky computer

    My puter is running like molassses--- I have run a spyware program---malwaare progrm and norton antivirus-- nothing was found on my puter. If you can help out I would sure appreciate it. I have also defrag the hard drive.

    Moved to the software forum. If you don't think it is malware related, I would still suggest that you run the latest version of MGtools and save it to your root folder. Then double click the exe file and attach the C:\MGLogs.zip so we can take a look at what is going on in your system.

    BTW-- I am an old-blonde lady who doesn't know much about puters-- you need to speak plain english to tell me just what to do to get it fixed. I will do anything

    I see in your other thread that you took the system back to factory settings. Can I assume that the log you attached was from before you did that? If it is, tell me if you are still having the same issue.

    THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR ANSWERING ME-- this was the original message that I was trying to get help with-- I took about as much crap as I was going to take and last night I restored it back to factory specs-- no after updating everything I am just trying to make sure that the same thing doesn't happen again--- things need to be disabled and I am just trying to do it.
