Stinking drop-downs

how do I get rid of a previous user name on my lynksis wireless router drop down list. When I try and login through my browser the unwanted name appears in my drop down list.

Since you didn't provide a model number for the router, I can't really offer detailed info, but it should be more or less the same as most other models/routers... you should be able to edit the user profile list or the admin list and just select delete/remove user or rename the account. I suppose you could also use the reset button on the rear or bottom of the router but that will also (usually) reset any custom settings you may have entered like WEP/WPA keys, port forwarding settings, any IM settings, etc. The router will be reverted back to factory default 'new-out-of-the-box' settings. You can always visit the Linksys web site with the model number handy and find info there...

I should have been clearer. I have been to lynksis and they were no help.

The problem does not seem to be at the router level but at the browser lever (i.e. suggested name). I have looked in the registry and found the passwords for most of my prgrms but not for my lynksis. I cannot find any of "suggested name" storage files.

Any ideas.
