Stinking drop-downs

    I have a dlink router with the same problem, how do i get rid of the old usernames?

    The router keeps one name called the SSID and a password with this name so you can edit the settings. The default for the dlink is username:admin and password: it is blank
    Exactly what old usernames do you mean.

    Yeah, I got the admin username ok, its when the box comes up to type in the word admin, If I click the down arrow, on the username box, there is an old email adress there that I have not used in years, If I highlight the name to delete it, It cant be erased, This is what I want to delete.

    Hi

    Hoping you have an NT version of Windows as in W2K, XP, Vista etc and if you do then go into Control Panel and click User Accounts and choose your Accounts name and then in left side of window should be the option "Manage my Network Passwords" choose than and remove the ones that are in your Routers Dropdown list.

    *can also back them up before deleting as some cover other accounts like autologin to email accounts*
