Stl Thumbnail Viewer Issue

Hi,
I have downloaded & installed the software from here,

It allows the stl files to be shown as Thumbnails.
When i download a file from the internet it is zipped so i extract it within the download folder.
Once extracted a folder is created called Files,it is in this folder that the stl files now reside.
The problem i have is that when i open the folder they are not thumbnails but just text like MAJOR GEEKS.stl

What is strange is that if i copy this file & paste to the desktop or another folder it then shows as the thumbnail like it is supposed to.

I use Chrome & so changed the folder to where downloaded files are saved,just as a test but it was the same issue.

Do you know why its doing this or a fix so i can see the thumbnails once extracted etc.

I have supplied a file of which for me shows just text as opposed a thumbnail.

 

Is this what you are talking about.Try using WinRaR.I am guessing you are trying to do a 3D print.It opened up just fine for me using winrar.https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/winrar.html

That wasn’t the file that I had a issue with.

I mean when I downloaded the file I used Win Rae no problem which then gave me 3 separate stl files.
When I then import them into the software mentioned in lost 1 only two of them import and open successfully

 

I never imported it.I just doubled click.

What files are missing.???

Where did you download the file from.???

 

I downloaded a file from https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=Test&dwh=195c1e852c974ea

And opened it all the files are there with winrar.

 

I have now managed to sort it using a different software,
i couldnt eve upload the file her.
