  1. i think you can terminate mcafee using this code but could someone test it for me? im not running mcafee.
    Code:
    net stop McAfee Framework
    net stop Mcshield
    net stop McTaskManager
    pause

if you just end the process, it comes right back on and i dont want that.
i also dont want to take it out of the boot up list.

  2. at school they have it and id like to just put something on my flash drive to disable it. if i disabled it, they would know someone did something to the computer.
all i wanted to do was check my mail! its not like i was gonna view porn or something but it blocks yahoo.

    HI!
Why don't you ASK your instructor if it's ok to check your mail and let he/she tell you how to go about it.
    If they don't WANT you to....then DON'T.

  4. but this is also a learning process for me.
    i like to learn.
my instructor doesnt know that much about it and he said theres no way to do it.
    LOL
still could i get some help though please?

  5. no, im positive that its mcafee.
    they use McAfee Security Suite.
Part of that is a web filter that blocks out offensive etc sites.
I noticed the process responsible for that part is mscifapp.exe.
But if you terminate it it comes back again after about 5 seconds.

  6. well if i dont learn, say im using a program such as avast and zone alarm.
    they do the same thing.
if i want to run certain programs, i have to take it out of the boot up.
then restart and run my programs.
when im done, i have to re-enable it and restart again.

I agree that this isn't something you should pursue. The learning thing you claim is stupid because if it was your home machine you would be able to rightclick on the icon in taskbar for the program and temp disable it like that. Stop trying to get us to help you abuse your schools computers and leave well enough alone. The school doesn't provide computers for you to check your personal email, but for educational reasons. Also from experience when i was in high school, things like that are frowned upon, and will get you suspended/banned from using school computer at the least.

  8. Good, go Google it 14 year old and get lost. Were adults here.
