Hi for years my personal at home PC has never asked to "log on" during boot up. but a freind of mine came over and used the pc. When he was done he logged off the name i had "logged on" with when i first started using my computer. Now it ask's me to log on every time i reboot. You know that little window with the picture of a key and the "username" and "password" feilds. That thing.

How do i get it to stop asking me to log on every time i reboot.?

He may have created a 2nd user, instead of having only one user to log on to, there are more than one, so it gives you the Logon screen.

You can try to look in the Users control panel, see if thats what he did. There also may be a way to select to automatically login to a specific user in the same control panel.
