Stopped going t Standby - XP Pro

    So...

    Things had been fine until a month ago, when my Fujitsu laptop decided to not come out of Standby.

    What would be the best way to analyze the problem? I've tried all of the XP analysis, including stepping back to a previous setup, but to no avail.

    Microsoft seems to be of no help.

    Run sigverif.exe.

    See what usnsigned drivers you have.


    Quite a few standby issues are drivers.

    not that it shouldn't be this way, but make sure your Computer description in the device manager says ACPI computer and not standard PC.
