i'll be just goin about buisness as usual when my mouse cursor will stop moving (this could of course be my whole system pausing) and then start again two seconds later. This started about two weeks ago. I can think of no new hardware or software additions in that time period that could of caused this. Any ideas?

    Hello,
WIN9X/me/2000 has an issue with missing/unloaded driver files. Here is a link for resoloution if you are running one of those OS systems. Check in device manager under mouse properties, driver details and see if there is a bracked file there like this [vmouse.vdx] or similiar. Then you must find and load that file details are at the link. In XP try refreshing the mouse at device manger. Good luck.

Hmmm, I read the article at your link, and visited their forum to see what some people had to say about it. Sounds pretty far-fetched to me. If excellrec had a missing mouse driver file, it wouldn't be an intermittent problem, the mouse wouldn't work at all. And if this "missing driver files" issue was as prevalent as the article claims, the users with non-functioning hardware issues would number in the tens of millions. I'm no big Microsoft fan, but I don't believe it. I'm more inclined to think Kodo's question is on the right track.
