A question, is it possible in Windows XP to change the place they system-restore points are put? I just ask because one day i might want to have one HD with system and files on it, and another with the backup of both on it. Or would I be better off with a 3rd part program?

nope, you can't change where XP puts the system restore info. It's a super secret double hidden folder. The new ghost can automaically mirror wjhil in windows, handy for creating system state saves. Also, if you're concerned with tweaking mussing everything up, you might want to try out virtual PC, very handy especially if you want to play with different OS's on one machine. It allows you to take snapshots of systems and revert them.
