I am running Windows 98SE, when i startup, a "my computer" window opens displaying the contents of my hard drive. I have nothing in my startup folder, and also see nothing out of the ordinary in msconfig. Any ideas why this is happening, and how i can fix it?

This usually happens when you restart or shutdown your computer with and explorer windows opened. Is this the case?

i am still having this problem, i am thinking it is somewhere in the registry or ms config, but not sure what i should be looking for. but everytime the puter is started a "my computer"window opens, just like if i were to open it and double click on the c drive. driving me nuts. help pleeeeease. dell, p4, 256, win 98se. also if i ctrl, alt, delete with the window open it shows the W98se[c:]
