    Hi,

    I recently upgraded to Firefox 1.02 and Thunderbird 1.02. I'm running Win98 on a PIII 450.

Using the older versions of Mozilla's products I had no problems. Since the upgrades, I've noticed that it takes a long time for Thunderbird to locate my read mail from my hard drive and connect to my incomming mail server. Once it connects, it reports that I have over 5,000 total messages when in fact I have about 100. My trash and sent folders are empty. There is also, periodically a lot of hard disk activity while Thunderbird is running. I believe it to be happening when Thunderbird is checking for new mail.

Are there any issues with Thunderbird 1.02 that any one knows of that might be causing this problem?

    Thanks.
