I have recently noticed strange dates documenting in File Explorer. Whenever modifying or creating a new data file the creation/modify time always logs in at 6 hours before the actual time. The bios clock and the task bar clock read correctly, but, any and all data files are all 6 hours older than they should be.

I would imagine this has occurred somewhere along the line as a result of a MS automatic update but I'm not certain. I do know this is the first time in my 15 years of using Windows PC's an occurrence of this nature has taken place.

Can someone assist with this issue? Thanks for your time.

My apologies to the forum. I happened to correct the issue myself. I am running a NAS and the NAS OS needed the clock updated. Thus all data storage was 6 hours behind. Sorry.

No need to apologize. We're happy you posted the fix. Someone may run into the same issue and your solution might be the key to solving the problem for them.
